International Research and Training Center for Information Technologies and Systems (the International Center) - the scientific and educational organization is subordinated to the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, established in 1997 with their assistance as well as the Government of Ukraine and UNESCO.

The International Center is an institution which organically combines research, training and international activities in the field of computer science, information and telecommunication technologies. The International Center formed a unique team of leading scholars, specialists and highly qualified lecturers who create and implement new information technologies based on intelligent computer-telecommunications environments.

The International Center programs focus is on the problems of artificial intelligence, new information and communications technologies and systems, problems of informatization, the creation of an information society in Ukraine and its interaction with the global information space. The International Center successfully solves one of the computer science key problems - the creation of high knowledge-intensive information technologies new generation - intelligent information technologies capable to recreate the elements of human intellect.

The International Center results in the main scientific directions are recognized both in the country and abroad.
