The International Center is an institution of dual subordination in which first in Ukraine are organically combined research, educational and international activities in the field of computer science, cybernetics and computer training methods.

Scientific activity of the International Center is implemented in accordance with the plans and programs approved by the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the field of informatics, the State Scientific and Technical  Program of the Ministry of Education and Science, the program of applied problems section of the Bureau of NAS of Ukraine, the National informatization program and for governmental contracts and international program.
